Summer Sculling With
Athletes Without Limits

In Virginia, Scholastic rowing in a Spring only sport. Many rowers look to train year round to stay competitive and also because they love being on the river!

In the summer we partner with the club Athletes Without Limits to offer rowing practices.

  • This is open to all Arlington Students from Grades 7-12.

  • There will be program options for people brand new to the sport and returning varsity rowers.

  • Practices will typically be in smaller boats than our spring season, like singles, pairs, and quads.

  • The program will primarily be coached by Wakefield & Washington-Liberty coaches.

  • All practices will be at the Anacostia Community Boathouse (1900 M ST SE, Washington DC).

  • This program will run for 7 weeks  from June 28th through Aug 13th.

  • There will be morning and afternoon sessions available to fit schedules.

    • Early Morning (630-830AM)

    • Mid Morning (830-1030AM)

    • Afternoon (400-600PM)

  • Each week is either $50, or $300 for the whole summer.

  • The first week is FREE for new rowers.

Our goal is to make the summer accessibly and affordable for all, while still covering our costs. Scholarships potentially available based on need. The link below is for registration, feel free to reach out to David Noyes ( with any questions.
