Teams from around the DC area will gather to battle for pins and bragging rights on March 28 on the Anacostia River as the Wakefield High School Warriors host the District Sprints.
Coaches and Coxswains meeting at 8:30. First race is expected to begin at 9:30. Get updates on event times and heat sheets with the official event list on Regatta Central.
Race location is the Anacostia Community Boat House
Concessions will be available at the event with drinks, sandwiches, chips, etc., available for purchase.
Watching the Race
Spectators can watch the race from the river bank by the team tents, from the foot bridge or from across the river at Anacostia Park.
IMPORTANT: Only event officials, staff, coaches and teams actively putting in and pulling out boats are allowed on the docks and ramps. This is for everyone's safety.
Parking is about 3/4 mile from the main event area. Parking is $10 cash and a free shuttle will be available to take people from parking to the event location. There is not enough parking in the boathouse lot. This will be reserved for boat trailers, team tents, and official setup vehicles.

Upon entering the roundabout by the Maritime Plaza building, make an immediate right into the parking lot behind the building.
