District Sprints

Teams from around the DC area will gather to battle for ribbons and bragging rights on March 30 on the Anacostia River as the Wakefield High School Warriors host our first regatta.

Basic Info

Coaches and Coxswains meeting at 8:30. First race is expected to begin at 9:30. Get updates on event times and heat sheets with the official event list on Regatta Central.

Race location is the Anacostia Community Boat House

Concessions will be available at the event with drinks, sandwiches, chips, etc., available for purchase. 


Parking is about 3/4 mile from the main event area. Parking is $5 cash and a free shuttle will be available to take people from parking to the event location. There is not enough parking in the boathouse lot. This will be reserved for boat trailers, team tents, and official setup vehicles.

Upon entering the roundabout by the Maritime Plaza building. Make an immediate right into the parking lot behind the building.
